microsft visual C++

I have the following installed in my pc: MS visual C++ 2005 ATL Update KB973923 x86 8.0.50727.4053; MS Visual C++ 2005 Redistrubutable; MS Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 9.0.21022; MS Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 9.0.30729.4148; MS Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 9.0.30729.6161 & MS Visual C++ Run Time Lib Setup. I presume they installed with Windows 7. Are all these required and if not, can I unstall them without any hiccups? Thanks for reading and in advance for any help offered. hedley
