Hi guys/girls, I have just bought a second hand (replacement) 4th gen nano. 2 problems or 3 if you include itunes when connect to my laptop i can see it as a drive. When i start i tunes it disapears as a drive but does show in itunes. Itunes cannot interact with it as it says drive not accesable. Itunes version is 8.6 as cannot install later versions as i always get messages saying i do not have the rights to install. I have tried all version upto the latest 10.6(i think). I can reset the ipod but not put it into drive mode. Any ideas would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Fossyf
In all reality, Apple is very easy to contact in regards to technical issues with their products. And given just how proprietary and picky their software is, they are probably the best source to go to for support. If you want to use a more open platform, you might try MediaMonkey.
