hey everyone! i can't figure out why the mouse pointer suddenly goes dancing around the monitor! i tried changing the mouse but it's still the same. any help is greatly appreciated! thanks a million!

I don't see any obvious hijacks or malware in the log. Have you tried reloading the mouse driver (if possible)? Can you define the circumstances when the mouse goes haywire (is it always at a certain place or just random)? I'll check back in a few hours. :)

it just goes haywire randomly across the monitor. i can't pin point an actual event or precipitating factor wherein it goes ballistic. i ran spybot and adaware last night, though... that must explain the clean HJT log... hmmmnn. i will monitor it again today and mail you. thanx a MILLION!
