my comp does not display an icon of network connection, Lan connection and i cant see local area connection on my taskbar my connection is wireless router what can i do pls help me.

Hello hardday22, Is it only the icon that is missing from your computer, or are you having additional problems as well? You may not see a icon for the Local Area Connection if you are not using an ethernet network cable. Instead for a wireless connection you should see a TV icon with radio waves on it. To see all network connections available on your computer: Click Start, Control Panel If Control Panel is set to category view, select Network and Internet Connections, otherwise select Network Connections. This should contain the icons and names for all connections that are usable. It might be helpful if you post details of what connections you have if you are having problems. Rich
