Hey i really need the microsoft word for some documents that i need to right up but my trial had expired. sooo... i was wondering if there was any free SAFE downloadable ones i can get and if anyone knows where to get it ?? thank you! oh and if there are similar products out there that i may get for free and is SAFE to downlaod ? ;)

Hi, there are no free downloadable full legitimate copies of Microsoft Word.... unless that is your employer or college supplies you with one that has already been paid for.

There are many free word processing applications and there is one called Wordpad that is built into Windows and this may be all you need.( from a Run command just type
wordpad
Some new computers come with a free starter version of Word and Excel, check to see what is on your computer if its brand new they may be included.

A free "open source" application called Open Office has the ability to open and create documents in MS Word format and is a comprehensive suite of Office type applications.
