Hello Dan I guess I am the only person who does not know you but because I always have problems, perhaps we will get to be acquaintances. :wavey: I clicked on your link which I think scans the Dell machine for driver issues. My question is, should a person use that and follow through with driver upgrade/installation if the machine is running well( to my knowledge), or should it be used only if there are issues? I think "Z"'s recommendation is what I will follow but wanted to get your opinion and I must say the link looks tempting. Being a Dell site maay mean it would be a more accurate scan. When I ran SlimDriver the quality of the audio/video and who knows what else really got crisp and improved. However, I also had problems which called for the use of Acronis. I also welcome you, Peter
Again, Thanks to all for the Welcome. Peter1, if your machine is working properly, then you can leave things as they are. I posted that link for Intel based drivers for the benefit of future readers of the post.

It's a good day as I did just learn something.
