Found New Hardware Update Problem

hi, im having problem with my wizard hardware update. every time i plug in my devices, the window pops up and i click next so the wizard can locate the right driver for my devices but it doesn't work as it cannot find the right driver i try to locate it myself and i found right driver but the wizard still gives my the same response i need help to fix this problem. the devices i plug in are: apple iphone 3g and razor keyboard

only thing i can think of to try is manually installing the correct drivers for each device.

should be able to find the correct driver for your iphone here :- http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/syncing/ at a guess will probably mean having to install some app. like itunes.

Thanks for Replying I have download the correct driver for the razor keyboard already but it still having problems the iphone is now working thanks for the link but i still like theres something wrong with my USB port cause i plugged in a USB 2GB and the computer automatically finds it and you are ready to go and use it but my computer just has that window popping up saying found new hardware and it cant find the correct software like oh my gosh

are you sure you've installed the correct driver, no idea what keyboard you have but i noticed for example there is a razor blackwidow and a razor blackwidow ultimate and the drivers are not compatible with each other.

i don't think you have anything wrong with the actual usb port, in my experience if it's broken nothing would work when plugged into it.



or you could try to manually point the device to the driver you've downloaded, not a windows user so can't give you exact details on how to do this, but from a vague memory, i'd go into device manager find the device and right click on it and update driver and choose the have driver option then just navigate to the downloaded file.

i hope that's close enough so you can mange it, if not i'll see if i can find a page on google for manually updating your device, i'll need your operating system xp, vist etc.

also from the razor link it might be worth downloading the master guide for your keyboard that will give you the instructions on how to correctly install the driver. eg. :- http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=d…amp;nav=0,77,28

From your post its understood that there is nothing wrong with the USB port. either it has to be some compatibility issue or issue with your keyboard.Do you use wlndows 7. I had few problems with window 7. few softwares and hardwares were not compatible.
