Drive not reading Adobe program disc

The drive is not reading to any Adobe disc for installation such as dreamweaver, photoshop. When disc is inserted light goes on but there is not response on screen to install program. The drive does respond to discs for other programs just isnt working for Adobe programs.

That part of your suggestion is a bit too casual.
We need additional information about the HD, and about the system in general before we can discover a "specific" source of the problem.

We actually don't know what's up with the HD, except that it reportedly read/writes when using other applications, but not Adobe related applications.

More investigation is necessary before launching a recommendation.

then if you see a setup icon on the disk anywhere then double click on it to run the install program, thats how I do it sometime when the auto start does not work
