Cant Log In Msn Messenger,but I Can Log,in

for some reason when i update with windows update last night i cannot log into msn messenger but i can log on it windows messenger hotmail is fine and everything else is too no spyware or nothing i tryed to reinstall 6.2 and the same thing no errors or nothing just cant log on using msn messenger i have xp home pls help! xoxox, mickey

Is there an error message that is displayed, or some other info you could supply that may help solve your dilemma?

nope i get no error at all…… thats why im so confused i checked my setting and all under tools and made sure it was not marked offline.. it tries to log in under msn messenger, i can see the things spinning but then nothing it just stops.. like it said it was working fine Till I dled the windows updates there was about 13 of them i just got this computer saturday and had to install them im thinking it might be a conflict with that but i dont think it should be …. if you tell me what you might need to know i will find it for ya thanks, mickey

that was the first place i went to. i ran adaware and nothing it is clean nothing there. thanks anyway for the help ill keep messing with it i might find my problem. thanks again, mickey
