Hello All :wavey: Got some questions for you. 1. What do you first check to see if you can salvage Data, after a Power Surge has disabled your machine? 2. Got a new Power Supply. This Machine is a DELL TOWER "Dimension E510." running Win XP. Can I get the DATA off the Hard Drive? Thanks, Marty :pullhair:

Well, the safest way would be to install that drive into an enclosure and attach it to another computer, or install it into another computer as a secondary drive. Then try to recover your data from there and save it on the second computer.
