Hi Ange8889,

In your last post you mentioned:

2. I followed the instructions and checked the 'empty temporary files…"

From my post #24

Clear Internet Cache permanently:
Open IE8 and if there is no Menu Bar showing, press Alt keyboard button.
Go to Tools / Internet Options / Advanced tab / tick 'Empty Internet files when browser is closed'

Terminology is important here. 'Temp files' are part of
Disk Clean-up and absolutely nothing to do with IE8 Internet Cache or it's files.

If you mean you have cleared the IE8 Cache, please say so. Otherwise I am confused as to what you are talking about. The Disk clean-up Temp files or the IE8 Cache (?).

If you have only cleared the Temp. files with Disk clean-up, could you now please remove the IE8 Cache as I described how to do and let me know if you have done so in IE8, thanks.

Cheers,
Lee
Hi Lee, I did as you asked Clear Internet Cache permanently: Open IE8 and if there is no Menu Bar showing, press Alt keyboard button. Go to Tools / Internet Options / Advanced tab / tick 'Empty Internet files when browser is closed' Working on the other items. Ange
Hi Lee and Doug,

So this is the status.

I downloaded the Revo Uninstaller. Tried to delete some of the HP programs and it does not respond.
I was able to remove all Rogers Online Protection and the Servicepoint Agent.

I ran another clean disk and came across something; There is a 'hibernation file' that has 3GB in its folder. I did not want check it for clean up because I wasn't sure if it was wise. Please advise.

Here is the latest PCPitstop summary.

http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?c…;report=Summary

The USB driver that it states needs to be updated, did not show up on the site that I updated the other drivers. I assume it is because it is not Intel. Where would I go to upgrade it?

Thanks guys for your patience and time,

Ange
