window movie maker!

I am already excusing if i have posted that in some wrong section. I have some question about Window Movie Maker. I am new to this and i made one movie on Window movie maker on my laptop which has windows Vista installed in it. But i have to give this movie to my friend who will run that on his PC which has windows XP. One of my colleague told me that transferring window movie maker file from one PC to another will disturb its time line and distort the movie. Now i am worried if i should run it on my own laptop or moving it to other Pc will be of no problem. Please please help me with this issue. i will be grateful

As to anticipating any problems and compatibility, there should be none.
However, your best course of action is to give it a try and then evaluate your results.
