Hi

I'm trying to use ERUNT's Auto-Backup utility but I'm presented with error messages when windows (Vista) starts up.
Can anyone advise please?
Hi, Please post the error message. Also, ERUNT needs to be run with administrator privileges. This might be the one causing it to not run properly.
Hi inzanity & thanks for replying to my topic.

It probably does have something to do with permissions but this is the error message I'm presented with.

This error message continues for the next few files that ERDNT tries to backup.
Hi,

Try this to automatically back up your pc using ERUNT:
  • Click on Start, on the Search box, copy and paste the following:
    control schedtasks
  • Press Enter. This will take you to the Task Scheduler in Control Panel
  • Click on Create Task… under the Actions panel on the right side.
  • Type in a name for your task.
  • Click Change User or Group… then type SYSTEM and click OK
  • Enable the option Run with highest privileges.
  • Select the Triggers tab, and click New
  • In the Begin the task drop-down box, select At startup, and click OK
  • Select the Action tab, and click New
  • In the Program/script: text box, type the following, don't copy the word quote:

    "C:\Program Files\ERUNT\AUTOBACK.EXE"

  • In the Add arguments (optional) text box, type the following, don't copy the word quote:

    %SystemRoot%\ERDNT\AutoBackup\#Date# sysreg otherusers /noconfirmdelete /noprogresswindow

  • Click OK, OK.
Restart your computer if you're done to test it.
