network driver in win 7

hey ! There is some problem in my windows 7 software because when i installed that operating system, the laptop is not detecting any network. I have the wireless router in my home but it is not detecting it what should i do? get another operating system?

have you got the correct driver installed for your wireless network card? Post back with the: 1 make and details of the wireless network card, 2 make and model number of the computer 3 make and model number of the modem/router/gateway/WAP, 4 and the output from running ipconfig /all from a command prompt Regards paws
