Newbie here with a laptop that will not connect or even detect a wireless connection. I go to Device manager and it says the the device is not working( I figured that out myself) because windows cannot load the drivers required. OK where can i get the drivers I need. BTW this is a Dell inspiron 6000. ( a bit dated) Any help would be a godsend thanks
The software for your wireless adapter can be downloaded from dell.com under the Support section. You will want to enter your Dell's service tag when given the option in order to be taken to the downloads for your specific laptop. Try installing the wireless drivers/software first, then if you keep having problems let us know. BTW, Welcome to WhatTheTech!
