Hello
I used to click on a notification in my email that someone has responded to my post. I was then directed to the forum and the reply. I could either sign in or click on reply, and then sign in, and was able to actually reply.
Now when I click on reply, no matter what I do, I am prompted to sign in over and over. I have had to use the 'quote' feature.
I wonder if I use FireFox instead of MSIE 8 I would have more luck.
I have xp home, sp3, MSIE 8 with updates current. My Internet security suite is Norton.
I do not want to burden you but thought you may have a quick solution as I enjoy using the forum.
Thank you
>>I tried F.F and it seemed to be ok but shouldn't MSIE 8 also allow me to access the post and reply?
>>Thank you for replying so quickly. In internet explorer I have the box checked to 'delete upon exit' which removes history and cookies etc.
I cam here today with F.F. as I know the problem is not on your end and this is o.k. with me as long as I can still come here to exchange posts.
Thank you for the help
>>I am back after resetting explorer. I clicked on your link which brought me to the post. I clicked reply and was prompted to sign in. I stared from scratch and signed in as soon as I reached your message in the forum. I clicked reply and again was pronpted to sign in.
I used the quote feature to access this reply so I could reach you.
I had problems with Snapfish and another site with msie 8. They told me to use F.F.
I just can't figure out why this has occured after so many years of popping in. Could the conversion to Norton from McaAfee do it? Comcaat switched us over. The only other change is an external drive imaging this system but that shouldn't be an issue..
Any other explorer messages having trouble?
Probably most smart people coming here do not use explorer.
Thank you for the advice but I tried that.
Sure is a puzzle but I have F.F. anyway.
Btw, I am receiving the notification from Live Hotmail but I have no filters or issues there.
