WinwordControl is not visible when webapp is executed in IE8

Hi all, I'm using Winword control[it is used to load word document into it],actually it is a windows control. We have changed it into ActiveX control and using in the web form. <object runat='server' id='MyWinControl' classid='http:WinWordControl.dll#WinWordControl.MyWinControl'width='500' height='1000' viewastext><param name='DocURL' value='" + ftppath+ "'> </OBJECT>"; This is working in IE7 and unable to view this control[Winword control,third party control] when executed in IE8. Thanks in Advance
