monitor.exe

i am trying to install autodesk and my computer keeps saying i need to disable monitor.exe before completing the instalation, but i do not know what this is or where to find it to disable it. i have a hp desktop computer. if someone can help me that would be great.

Click on start, then Run … in the box type msconfig, press ok. Click on the 'startup tab' then uncheck monitor.exe. You will need to restart your computer.

when i hit start there is no run button from top to bottom My Computer documents pictures games recent items computer network connect to control pannel default programs help and support ive looked through these as much as i can, but there are too many files

It should now be in the 'start' menu list on the right hand side.

Another way to open Run on (i think) any Windows OS in Hold Windows Key, Press R, Release windows key. it'll open as a small search bar towards the bottom left of the screen
