firefox freezing everytime i use any search engine

hello guys i was in the virus removal team on this forum thinking that because of a virus my firefox was freezing everytime i used a search engine (any) we got rid of some adwares and some viruses but the problem stills here… he told me to direct to you guys and see if u can help me

The firsdt thing to find out is does this happen with IE as well? Try it and post back with results.

it works fine with IE everytime i try to make a search on any engine….

problem is only with firefox…

First, try starting FireFox in Safe mode: FireFox Safe Mode.

If that doesn't help, try creating a new FireFox profile, see if the problem occurs there as well. If not then something in your current account is corrupted. See here for info: Creating a new Firefox profile on Windows
