Windows Stuck in a Loop Restarting

My Windows XP boots up to the Windows screen, then goes to the screen that says "We apologize for the inconvenience…. Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking…. Last Known Good Configuration… Start Windows Normally." No matter which one I pick, it goes back to the Windows screen, then this same screen. It does nothing else. Now, when I hit F8 and click on Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure, then I get the blue screen that says "A problem has been detected… Unmountable_boot_volume… disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing…STOP: 0X000000ED (0X8B051E0, 0XC0000006, 0X0000000, 0X0000000)

Sorry to hear of your difficulty.

From the information that you provide, it would be sensible to attempt Error Checking via chkdsk /r

You will need Recovery Console on your XP installation CD, or a bootable Recovery Console CD.
