It wasn't my fault ok, it was my wife who loaded Archsoft suite accidently. Usually no problem for me but for some reason in the Control Panel "Add Remove Programs" the Archsoft programs (Media Converter, Media Impression and Print Creations) only offer a "Change/Remove" button instead of separate buttons for "Change" and "Remove". Haven't come across this before. When pressed, there is no option to remove, only install. Years ago I would just go in and delete the folders but that's not good practice. I would of course like the registry updated correctly. Any neat utilities out there that will do a clean job for me? Note that "Print Creations" has several separate programs.
Pre-empt - no, the software didn't come with an uninstaller.
Thanks.
Searching on uninstall Archsoft gets lots of hits, with many problems trying to uninstall it.
One suggestion I have would be to use Revo Uninstaller. It will try to run the programs uninstaller, then whether that finishes or not, it will delete the files and registry entries it finds for you. Works pretty well most of the time. Worth a try.

Thanks Z, nice tool. I used it and it appears to have done its job. Interesting to note that upon each execution of the uninstall, a dirty little ArchSoft install process kicked off. I had to cancel the install for each so the Revo uninstall could continue. At the end all I was left with were the procedures for "ArchSoft Connect" which was a startup task. Several 'bin' folders had a single locked file. I used Anti-Malware "Assassin" to unlock and remove those. All-in-all it was a successful exercise and I recommend staying away from ArchSoft products.
