I need to know what to do next.
Hi and :welcome:

That's great thanks  can you also include a fresh HJT log with the Kaspersky report (open HJT - click on "run a system scan and save a log file" - copy/paste the log into this thread) I also need you to confirm something for me. you have 'VistaDrive' running on your system. Can you confirm that you downloaded this program (a desktop enhancement program) and it is in fact the application that willchange the drive icon shown in Windows "My Computer" to a nearly Vista drive icon. (Vista Drive Icon [removed] it's available from softpedia amongst others)
Hi, I am having some trouble with the Kaspersky to complete its report. I was able to download it yesterday, but when the first scan is done. I can not do anything with it. It just reloads the update and reloads the database and than it freezes up. We never downloaded Vista Drive on our computer but we are not sure if that comes with the Windows XP Pro Essentials or not. We are just old schoolers and not computer literate enough. I also wanted to find out about the system drivers on our computer. Is there a list of the ones that we should have. I hope you can take a look at the list I created from our computer and see if there are some that should not be there. If you cant determine that, thank you anyway. I saw on another post that said sometimes viruses or malware can automatically install drivers that we dont need. Here is the list from our computer. It is long and I hope it helps. abiosdsk abp480n5 ac97intc acpi acpiec adpu160m aec afd aha154x aic78u2 ailable aic78xx Alilde amsint asc asc3350p asc3550 asyncmac atapi atdisk atmarpc audstub avgio avgntflt avipbb beep cbidf2k cd20xrnt cdaudio cdfs cdrom changer cmdide cpqarray dac960nt disk dmboot dmio dmload dmusic dpti2o drmkaud fastfat fdc fips flpydisk fltmgr ftdisk gameenum gpc hpn http i2omgmt i2omp i8042prt i81x iaimfp0 iaimfp1 aimfp2 iaimfp3 iaimfp4 iaimfp5 iaimfp6 iaimfp7 iaimtv0 iaimtv1 iaimtv3 iaimtv4 iaimtv5 iaimtv6 imapi ini910u intelide ip6fw ipfilterdriver ipinip ipnat ipsec irenum isapnp kbdclass kmixer ksecdd lbrtfdc ltmodem5 modem mouclass mountmgr mraid35x mrxdav mrxsmb ms_mpu401 msfs mskssrv mspclock mspqm mssmbios mup ndis ndistapi ndisuio ndiswan ndproxy netbios netbt npfs ntfs null p3 parport partmgr parvdm pci pcidump pciide pcmcia pdcomp pdframe pdreli pdrframe perc2 perc2hib pptpminiport psched ptilink ql1080 ql10wnt ql12160 ql1240 ql1280 rasacd rasl2tp raspppoe raspti rdbss rdpcdd rdpdr rdpwd redbook rspndr rtl8139 secdrv serenum serial sfloppy simbad sparrow splitter sr srv ssmdrv swenum swmidi sym_hi sym_u3 symc810 symc8xx sysaudio tcpip tdpipe tdtcp termdd toside udfs ultra update usbhub usbstor usbuhci vgasave Viaide volsnap wanarp wdica wdmaud wudfpf wudfrd
Hi,

I don't see anything bad in your drivers list and Yes Vista Drive is included in Windows XP Pro Essentials, thank-you

  • Click the Start button.
  • Now click the Install button.
  • Click Start.  The scanner engine will initialize and update.

  • Click the Scan button.  The scan will now run, please be patient.
  • When the scan finishes click the Details tab.
  • Copy and paste the contents of the C:\ProgramFiles\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt into your next reply.

next

Our computer is so slow that it takes minutes just to open up a page or do anything. One of the scans has said that we have a Rouge.360Antivirus but it said that it removed them. Thank you again for trying to help. Hope to hear from you soon. I hope that this is what you were asking for. I will talk to you soon.
Stacy n Chris
Hi,

There is no trace of A360 showing in your log, so it appears that MalwareBytes, cleaned out and deleted whatever remnants may have remained, however we have a tool that can check to see if there is anything remaining.

Please do the following:

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
  • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
  • Under Main choose: Select All
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
    • If you use Firefox browser
    • Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time.

Next:

  • Please download SmitfraudFix
  • Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
  • Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
  • Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
