Hi, I have an Apple Ibook running OSX 10.3.9, old yes I know. Currently, my mac keeps freezing whether its 2 seconds into running my computer or 20 minutes. I did the whole trouble shooting bit, and was told to use to software reinstall discs. I am only on disc number two because my computer keeps freezing. What do I do? , I'm pretty sure I need to upgrade, but since its such an older version, do I need to pay though ? I love my MAC and want it back ! Please help. Thanks :)

Hi 25thivy

Could you express this a different way. (ask the question differently?)

I am only on disc number two because my computer keeps freezing.

Here's some information about updating your operating system: Mac OS X 10.3.9 Update

I look forward to reading more information about your machine, so that we can help from a more informed perspective.

Best Regards
My computer Freezes, I don't know how much simpler to say it. I started the reinstall discs but stopped because it the freeing problem. It freezes sometime at start-up or when I am just trying to do work on my laptop. I really don't want to have to scrap it. I am going to try the update link that was posted.
