yeah i just ordered a new dell laptop 2.8 ghz with HT I KNOW thats not slow but since it came its been a piece of sh*t it uses XP service pack 2(which i dont like) and the recovery disc doesnt seem to work i think ive been ripped off or laptops are just plain slow? any suggestions what i should do?
you used to get a OS and some software. commercial computers these days have more and more useless garbage on them. and the software is preconfigured for you. like my mouse needs to phone home once a week to check for updated drivers? when i got my laptop (dell) i wiped the hd and started over.
