The mobo in our computer died, so we bought a new Gateway, and a hot patch bay to dock the old hard drive to get the data off of it. Unfortunately, although the first partition with the os is intact, the partition with all our data has a corrupt FAT. I know there is a way to rebuild it, but don't know how. Any help would be appreciated
Hi SurferGurl,

i've heard of a program called GetDataBack. I haven't used the program and it's not recommended by WhatTheTech, but unless someone else has any alternatives, i'd at least read up and weigh up the pros and cons.
