Hello. I have again a great big problema.I 'm at home at a friend, and I reinstalled windows. But when I had to install the drivers, He told me that he don`t have CD-ROMs with the required drivers installed.

What to do, what to do!

I installed a program, Driver Updater Pro but i don`t have money to pay to license it. I understand that drivers may find the net.

I scanned and here is the result of the Driver Updater Pro:

Hi, Sorry to hear of the problems with the drivers.

When you formatted and then reinstalled Windows your operating system wlll have installed the best set of drivers that it could find (on the Microsoft install disc.) Sometimes these work OK and other times either full functionality will not be provided solely by the Windows drivers or a particular part of the system will not work at all.

The normal procedure is to visit the website of the computer manufacturer (or motherboard manufacturer) and download the drivers concerned (you will need to do this from a machine with Internet access and maybe transfer them to the machine in question via removable media; Thumb or flash drive)

Usually it's best to install the chipset drivers first then the video drivers followed by the audio drivers.

A quick solution to getting some of the drivers installed is to have a look in Device Manager…. any red or yellow markers indicates that the items marked need attention…you can try right clicking on the item and updating the drivers from there……sometimes your sytem will be able to find and install the correct ones for you…….other times you will need to visit the manufacturer's web site as set out earlier.
For Device Manager
1 Click on Start
2 Right Click on My Computer
3 Click on Properties
4 Click on Hardware
5 Click on Device Manager
6 Click on the + sign to the left of the items concerned

Good luck
