Oh.. Thank goodness. A couple of things have suddenly started making more sense.
I don't know how to explain exactly what you are seeing on the laptop when you open your My Documents folder, but it sounds like you are just seeing the name of the folder you are currently in. 
Not a second My Documents folder. So, this makes much more sense because you previously said the folder was empty anyways. And now this confirms that.
Please move on and take care of rearranging the folders on the desktop. The laptop is ready to go for us.
On the desktop computer if you double-click My Documents to open it, you have stated that you see another four folders, (My Documents, My Pictures, etc..) You then said you have to open the second My Documents folder listed to see all your files. So, if this is still true, please follow the directions to move those files appropriately.
