BHowett, Last point, now that ll is done and still clear, what should the proper config be on my boot.ini file? We went into a modified safe mode on startup and I want to be set properly. Right now my general screen is re-set to normal, and boot.ini is set to line item "C\CMDCONS\BOOTSECT.DAT= . . . " with the timer at 3 seconds. thx again, paultpa

Hi paultpa,

That sounds fine to me as long as everything is running fine, however that’s not really my area of expertise. Here is a link to Microsoft Help and Support How to edit the Boot.ini file . Take a look at that and if your not satisfied, or you still have questions, you might want to post in the tech forum Here and see what they think.
