I sat down to my mother-in-law's computer and a bubble at the bottom from the regular Microsoft security center icon said "automatic updates has been disabled.click here to resolve" or something to that effect. I clicked it and what looked like the Microsoft Security center window popped up. There was a button that said "resolve now" for th automatic updates, but when I clicked it nothing happend. It was the that I started thinking "oh carp**". The computer ws starting to slow down too.
I then went to the control panel and opened up the security center from there and it said automatic updates was already enabled. Again "oh carp**"
So now it has all kinds op popup and redirects. Many are for antiviirus 2009. I also noticed me fake aol things in my task manager as well as what appeared to be a fake quicktime in the add/remove programs. I disabled all the non-microsoft services and the startup programs using msconfig so that the popups were lessened, but it is still bad.
Any help would really be apprciated. Anyone out there who is married surely realizes just how potentially screwed I am if I can't fix this.
Thanks in advance. (oh yeah, the keyboard is acting wacky too)
Here is the hjt log:
