CPU Usage 100%...Frequently

My CPU still frequently goes up to 100%. Whatever program I'm using (whether it's Firefox, MS Word, or Paint Shop Pro) locks up and makes me wait, sometimes for a few minutes, until (for reasons I can't figure out) it will go back to a relatively normal state again.

First thing I would do is Clean out your Dust Bunnies if you have not done it for a spell. Dust build up can cause many problems.

Post back if you are still having issues after doing the above chore.
