Hi Golden Fish,

Information supplied from another thread by Doug that may help us to help you with your problem.

Please consider running this simple utility that will help you get control of programs and processes that you wish to have running active, or not.

CodeStuff-Starters
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/Starter.html

Download and install, agreeing to the licensing terms and allow to install with all of the default settings as preselected in the installation wizard.

When you finally allow CodeStuff-Starters to run
It will preselect StartUps Tab

Click on File
Select - save as HTML (name the report file - Startups Dec4.html)

In your next reply, post the file as an attached file (use browse and upload buttons – at the bottom-right corner of your topic posting window where you are typing your next reply)

Please do not make any changes with Code-Stuff Starters, until after you post the requested information above and receive recommendations from a helper here.

Best Regards

We may also be helped if you download and run Sysspec.exe, then take a screen shot of the Item Details showing your Display Adapters and other details for us to help you.

Best regards,
Hi GoldenFish,

Thank you for posting the requested System specs and Startup List.

I can see that your Java Environment is out of date, you need to update it to be secure your system is not vulnerable. Please download and install JavaRa which will uninstall all your old Java utilities, and install the latest Java installation for you. Then verify that you have the latest Java here

Is it possible for you to go to Memory on the SyssPec software and tell us if you have spare slots to add more RAM. Your RAM capacity is low for gaming so that could be the answer to the problem you are facing with your Display Adapter.

Have a look in Device Manager to see if there are any red or yellow warnings alerting you that your drivers may need updating.
  • My Computer
  • Properties
  • Hardware
  • Device Manager
  • Display Adapters
When you are there, make sure there are no other warning at all showing.

This link from this forum posted to day will also help you with your Java update.

Keep us advised of your progress please.

Best regards,

reason for edit, to add update link from this forum.
Tnx. I put here a print of the device manager …and i don`t understand the part .. " it possible for you to go to Memory on the SyssPec software and tell us if you have spare slots to add more RAM. Your RAM capacity is low for gaming so that could be the answer to the problem you are facing with your Display Adapter." , so i put a print of the memory status, Tnx again and …hope that you will respond fast. :)
Hi Golden Fish,

So far I have not received the information I require to assist you, although you have done exactly as asked by me.

So I can get a full appreciation of your system, please do the following:

PCPitstop Full Test

http://www.pcpitstop.com/

Please Run the PCPitstop Full Tests, here:

http://www.pcpitstop.com

Register and create a password
Accept the ActiveX component to allow your machine to run the Full Tests
Registering and accepting the ActiveX are both SAFE and FREE.
Full Tests is the first item in the left hand column of that page.

The Full Tests take about 2-3 minutes for most machines.
Once you have your results, please post the URL Link of your Pit test back here into this thread for review.

There are no personal details posted, so this is quite safe for you to do the above test. Please do not click on any of the advertising links on the link given, they cost money and we can analyze you test here for free.

I maybe out for an hour this morning my time, so please be patient for your next reply.

I would like confirmation you have updated your Java as requested please.

Best regards,
Hy there, y have some problems yesterday and eh… nvm. Y made the test whit pit stop, but y couldn`t save the link, because.. when y save-it , he direct me to the homepage of the pit stop, so y made some print screen, of the test result, the memory and the video card`s test result.. Is not such a big problem, but y want it to resolve`it enyway.:) Have a nice day.
Golden Fish,

You are using the old Pit Test, I have no idea why as the link I gave you leads you to the new test. I do not require screen shots, so please do the following:

The Full Tests take less than 5 minutes for most machines.
Once you have your Results, please post the TechExpress Link back here into this thread for review.
TechExpress is the last item on the list in the yellow box in upper right area of any Results page.
Post the entire URL link information back here into this Forum thread.
Note: Vista users, please close your instance of IE "Running as Administrator" after you are finished reviewing your Results.

As you can see by the results of your test there is much work to do to bring your system to speed. I have attached a screen shot of the Tech Express link to guide you so please click on it and post your link into this thread.

Along with all issues needing attention as stated, you have three RAM slots free so I would guess this is the reason you are maybe having problems with your initial query regarding your Video card. You need more RAM.

On your Test Results Summary all those underlined Customised Tune-Up Tips can be clicked on safely then follow the prompts advised to correct the errors.

Do not update your Drivers unless you are having problems with them.

Best regards,
