Dial-up Connection window won't go away if I'm not going online. Clicking on close only closes it for half a second.
Have run both AdAware and Spybot; no problems found.
Running Windows 98SE.
Any suggestions?

It's pretty hard to tell what's going on inside your PC without more info.
The best tool for giving us some insight into what may be affecting your machine is "Hijack This!"
If you'd like for someone from this forum to take a look, and possibly offer some advice to help you get your PC back to normal, please do this:
Please make a permanent folder (not on the desktop, and not in any folder that has "temp" in the name) for Hijack This! (suggest "C:\HJT\"), and download it (from the link in my signature) into that folder.
Run it from that folder.
Click "Scan".
DO NOT "FIX" ANYTHING WITH IT YET!!!
FIXING THE WRONG THING COULD RENDER YOUR SYSTEM INOPERABLE!!!
Click "Save log".
Reply to this thread, and post the ENTIRE CONTENTS of the log file into this thread.
Someone will examine it to see if we may be able to help you.
