As the title says, is there any way can be done to implement this feature whereby I subscribe a topic and when it gets answered I get board notifications just like the PM?
I know I could get into My Controls section but I think it would be helpful if we could set this under personal preference by having a board notification for subscribe topic/forum. I'm thinking this whether it's practical to do so, everyone please tell me what you guys think?

You will then get email notifications to any thread you want to follow. I do this with members I suggest to post HJT logs so I can learn and watch how they progress with the Masters of the Forum.

Nope, not email notifications but instead the pop-up within this forum. Just like how it worked on PM, whenever you got a new PM you'll receive a notification in here.

My goodness I wouldn't want that to happen, boxes would be popping up on my desktop all day.
When I do get my PM notifications they sometimes interupt my thought process if I am in the middle of a reply to an OP. I wouldn't want them changed either as they do alert you to the new PM in your In Box. Of course there is an option to stop the popup box for email notifications, I also know that.
Why don't you put a shortcut of your Control Panel (View Topics) in your taskbar and one click brings up all your subscibed to threads……..that also works for me. I know it is not quite what you want, but close don't you think?
