I uninstalled Syncplicity but remnants of it still remain. It still appears on my context menus and on my StartUp list even though I have it disabled. After dong a Search, I tried deleting the found files without any luck. How can I get rid of this program…ALL of this program?
Good Morning Weybrew,

Did you uninstall through Add and Remove? Always the very best way of uninstalling a program.

If you did, and the remnants still remain,
  • Right Click on My Computer on your desktop
  • open
  • click on your C:\Drive
  • program files
  • Syncplicity folder and delete all in it
  • If you are sure you don't want it, delete the folder also
That should do it, post back if you have more questions.

kind regards,
Thanks, tallin, but looking at the Snycplicity folder I find a sub-folder called Microsoft.VC90.CRT and files msvm90.dll, msvp90.dll, msvr90.dll and Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest! I don't think I want to mess around here…at least not until I get more info…

Good Morning Weybrew,

Would you answer my first question in my initial post quoted above thanks.

If you did, then another suggestion for you would be to consider Revo Uninstaller but with caution as once you decide what you want to uninstall there is no turning back with this one.

Keep us posted,

kind regards,
