SBS 2003 says it's WIndows XP SP3.
This PC was reported by TREND MICRO CSM SBS as having "a trojan" infector that a scan removed.
When PC was later rebooted, there was no desktop – only wallpaper.
No Taskbar, no Start menu.
Only TaskManager could be started.
TaskManager could browse to Explorer.exe but could not start it – Windows claimed file not found.
System Restore was fruitless.
MBAM Log and HJT Log appended.
It's VERY early yet but we may be out of the woods thanks to the "Before You…" instructions.

I may have spoken too soon. About four hours after using the disinfection techniques cited, the LAN was blacklisted. I've directed AntiVirus scans to run on all desktops and the server but have little hope of this being effective. It's going to be a slow and tedious process.
I have no further information at this point.
If anyone sees anything in the logs I've posted here, I'd appreciate suggestions.

I may have spoken too soon. About four hours after using the disinfection techniques cited, the LAN was blacklisted. I've directed AntiVirus scans to run on all desktops and the server but have little hope of this being effective. It's going to be a slow and tedious process.
I have no further information at this point.
If anyone sees anything in the logs I've posted here, I'd appreciate suggestions.
