Ah I did this same thing. What happens is, when you create your wireless network password, it requires your computer to have a password to, but since you didn't already have one (correct?) it made one for you, so to speak. All you should have to do is just press enter, don't put anything in for a password, just try to log in with your username but a blank password, since that's what it should be by default.
Also what OS do you have?
Also do you have access to any other users on your computer? Even just a guest account?
heyyy….thank you so much vectris……it worked….and i was able to undo ask me password at the logon…..PHEWWWWWW….what a relif….
i have windows ex home edition…..and no der are no accounts other den owner……now if you can tell me..how can i make my connection secured..do you know? i dont wanna make da make mistake again n mess up things…
tx again m8
Oh, so when you took off the password for your account Owner, it took the password off the connection? The password for the connection should still remain even though you took the pass of your Owner account.
Now if you mean when you took the pass of your account, it took it off the network connection too, do this for me. Go down to your quick launch bar, right click on this icon [external image: Posted Image], and click "View Available Wireless Networks". Then click on the option at the left called "Change advanced settings". Go to the Wireless Networks tab. In the box near the bottom of the window, find the name of your wireless network connection and click it once to highlight it. Below is an example, the wireless network name that I use at home is zoom, so I just click it to highlight.

Once it's highlighted, click the button Properties. Make sure your on the Association tab. Tell me if "Network Key" has dark circles to the right of it or if it is blank and the words are faint.

First-off you could boot into "safe mode" and use the "adminsitrator" account to remove the password, but there is another way….
when in the administrator account, click on -start-, -run-, then type "control userpasswords2" press [enter]
then the User Accounts window will open, UN-check the box "Users must enter a username and password…", then click -apply-
This will cause a new small window to open asking what user account would you like to automatically enter when the computer is booted.
Put your username in, as it pops-up with "administrator" filled-in, change it to YOUR username !
leave both password fields blank, click -OK-, -OK-
restart the PC
