SM Bus Controller

I reformated my dell pc and then noticed in device manager that the driver for sm bus controller was missing.Have installed all drivers from the dell disc and tried to let windows install from the dell installation disk,no luck. Googled,ended up on intel site which said windows at times failed to recognize…. ended downloading an intel utility to auto install driver but it declared that system did not meet minimum requirements so it is closing. What shall I do? I find even minor matters a great pain so please tell me a very simple solution. Will reformat and install again help? ALERT: My processor is amd.. My motherboard is dell and the chipset is nvidia nForce 410. Found this after the intel visit.

What is the Dell model? Have you checked the Dell web site to see if there is a Chipset driver that needs to be installed?

Thank you very much. My bad. Found the driver on dell driver disc a few minutes ago. All is well now.
