Hi, so i recently bought a new linksys router (WRT54G) and a new linksys usb adapter (WUSB54GS w/ speedbooster). I have had no problems with them up until last week, when randomly i would lose my wireless connection at any given time for any amount of time. It might have something to do with the new xp service pack, but that's just a guess, i've run avg anti-spyware and nothing has come up, any suggestions? (Im running XP on a compaq pc)

If you think SP3 might be causing this, uninstall it from ADD or Remove Programs, see if that fixes it. If so, stay with SP2 + updates for now, give SP3 some time to cook so to speak :D
