"Erasing" New(dot)Net in the manner you describe, can lead to loss of ability to connect to the internet, due to poorly written components of LSP (Layered Service Provider software) that may have been installed in other areas of you machine, by New(dot)Net

I'd suggest that before your continue with anything else….
Post a HJT Log over into our Malware Removal Forum
The experts there will help you reconstruct any damaged LSP features to assure that your machine's access to the internet does not fail for this reason at some time in the immediate future.

Please do this now, while your machine is still able to access the internet."

Was the reply i recieved when i erased a folder i thought was messing with my computer please tell me if i need to re-install or do something and where to get it. thanks
