Removing Services in Windows XO

Hijack This - v1.99.1 doesnt seem to fix my problem. Information provided says - The 'Services' in Windows XP are a special type of program essential for proper functioning of the computer, and that I must use the services dialog in the admin tools in windows.
I have no idea how to do this.
A message also says that the action taken is that the services have been disabled and stopped and that a roboot is necessary. However when I reboot I still get a system alert from the so called services centre saying I have a Trogen-spy.Win32@mx. Explorer keeps redirecting me to spyware software web pages.
