Welcome to the forum.

You have several infections.

First please move HJT into a folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\HJT\HijackThis.exe

-----------------------------

Please download delcmdservice (by Marckie), and save it to your Desktop.
Unzip the content to your Desktop (a folder named delcmdservice)
Double-click on the delcmdservice folder
Double-click on delreg.bat to launch the tool
When the tool has finished, please reboot your computer

---------------------------------

Please download Look2Me-Destroyer.exe to your desktop from the link below:
http://www.atribune..../click.php?id=7

Close all windows before continuing.
Double-click Look2Me-Destroyer.exe to run it.
Put a check next to Run this program as a task.
You will receive a message saying Look2Me-Destroyer will close and re-open in approximately 1 minute. Click OK
When Look2Me-Destroyer re-opens, click the Scan for L2M button, your desktop icons will disappear, this is normal.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove L2M button.
You will receive a Done Scanning message, click OK.
When completed, you will receive this message: Done removing infected files! Look2Me-Destroyer will now shutdown your computer, click OK.
Your computer will then shutdown.
Turn your computer back on.
Please post the contents of Look2Me-Destroyer.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

Next..........
  • Download Brute Force Uninstaller to your C:\
  • Unzip it to a folder of its own (C:\BFU). So BFU should be on your root. In most cases this is C:\
  • Download qoofix.bat (rightclick on this link and choose save as)
  • Place qoofix.bat in your C:\BFU - folder. (Important!)
  • Doubleclick qooFix.bat, Close all browsers and explorer folders.
  • Choose option 1 (Qoolfix autofix) and follow the prompts.
  • Please be patient, it will take about five minutes.
Reboot and post a new HijackThis log, and the we'll take another look, MrC.

Please turn word wrap OFF in notepad before posting the log, edit > word wrap.

MrCharlie, I tried to run the program qooFix.bat on my computer, I got as far as to get the message that it was going to be working in the background and that it would take up to five mintues, but then nothing else showed up and more than five minutes went by, say like hours.... Then when I pressed ALT Control and DEl, it said that the BFU program was not responding, so I canceled that one. Then I tried to run it again, and the same thing happened, hours went by and nothing. :( what can I do?

Delete the copies of BFU and qooFix.bat and download fresh ones.
Make sure that you unzip BFU to a folder located in C: and also place qooFix.bat in that same folder.
You should end up with a folder called BFU with BFU.exe and qooFix.bat in it.
Let me know, MrC

MrC, I erased the folders then downloaded new one to my C: drive, but nothing ever happened, after hours I would get again that the BFU was not responding. :( What do I do?

Lets try it this way:

Download FindQoologic.zip save it to your C:\.
http://downloads.sub...on/FindQool.zip

Extract (unzip) the files inside into their own folder called FindQool.
Read here how to unzip/extract properly:
http://metallica.gee...xplanation.html

This folder should be present on your C:\
In case it's not present there, move the FindQool folder to C:\ otherwise it won't work.
Then open the FindQool folder.
Locate and double-click the Qlocate.bat file to run it.

This will scan your system.
Wait until a text opens.
Post this in your next reply

MrC

Ok, lets do this...

Download and unzip the KillBox to a folder.

Open up the KillBox
Select the option "Delete on reboot".
Click the button: Single File
Now it should flash green.

Now copy and paste this in the window:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\nakulxl.exe

Then press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it.
Reboot now, click YES
If you don't get that message, reboot manually.

Your computer must reboot now.

---------------------------

Open up HJT

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS AND BROWSERS Scan with Hijack This and put checks next to all the following (if found), then click "Fix Checked"

F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,nakulxl.exe

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Reboot and post a fresh HJT log - please don't forget about the wordrap setting, MrC

MrC, I did what you sugested for the Kill box and when I pressed on the Removal button(red with a white x) I got the message to reboot computer, I said yes and then I got this other window named PendingFileRenameOperations and it said: PendingFileRenameOperations Registry Data has been removed by External Process! That same window had an OK button. So when I pressed ok, my computer did not shut down. Hmmm I am not sure if I was supposed to get that window

Try it in safe mode.

You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode then hit enter.

Those messages happen some times - just manually reboot.

Let me know, MrC

MrC,
I got the same message in safe mode as well, so I just manually rebooted. Then I runned Hijack and found the F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,nakulxl.exe. I fixed it with Hijack, rebooted and here is the the new Hijack results:( I turned word wrap off, I hope)

Looks Good

To clean up a bit......

Close ALL programs down, leaving ONLY HijackThis running - Click Scan and.....
Place a check against the following items:

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {120E090D-9136-4b78-8258-F0B44B4BD2AC} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\ms.exe (file missing)

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Reboot and let me know how it is and post one more HJT log, MrC
