I don't write for myself on this one, but for a close friend of mine.
He recently bought the Bullguard security package. And it is his firewall that presents the problem.
He gets an error message saying: Ping loop back. when he tries to activate outlook or his websupport from yousee(danish isp)
I have no knowledge of Bullguard, so if any knows about this particular problem i would very much like to hear about it.
I tried search their homepage, but no help in the knowledge base over known issues.
hello
here's official bullguard forum but as you see, there's not much support guys working there.

Hello Jerremy
Thx for the reply, but had already searched that forum.
With regards to reliabilty, I can tell you that its a highly respected product. Don't know how well its known outside Europe, might be therefore you haven't heard of it.
Hi Abydos,
I am sure you will have had a look here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314067
but it might be as well to check that TCP/Ip is correctly installed…..
also I think Bullguard has a firewall included in the security suite and it could be that your friend has not allowed access to his network through the firewall.
Bullguard firewall, also will normally disable the Windows firewall but I have sometimes seen the two running alongside each other….sometimes it creates a problems…….. other times not……

Hi Paws
Thx for the suggestions.
I'll look into those for sure. As of now, he have disabled the Bullguard Firewall and is using Comodo's till the problem is solved. But dunno if Comodo can make the same "trick" with leaving the MS Firewall on, but no harm done checking
I'll report back, once the things are tried out.
Kind regards Abydos
