I am new to all of this. I have included a hijack this log, and I followed the steps in the self help section "Do this before you post.". I have Comcast cable internet, and suddenly, the cable speed went down to 1-2 MB per several speed tests conducted on speedtest.net. It is still slow after running the procedures in the self help section mentioned above.

I have good ping times to my router, I am not loosing any packets, but my internet is very slow. The cable company assures that it is not their cable due to a ping test to my modem. I am thinking that this could be due to either 1. spyware\malware or 2. a software conflict with my internet connection. However, I know just enough about this stuff to be dangerous. Note: when I hardwire into the cable modem, the connection speeds up to about 4MB. However, Comcast says that with the data burst the test should show about twice that amount.

What do you guys think? Software problem? Hardware problem? Spyware problem? I have pated my log. Is this computer clean?
