All right, I'm having difficulties with my computer. The two main issues are that 1) the computer is running extremely slowly, to the point of being almost unuseable. Secondly, I'm getting repeated popup alerts from McAfee security that say:
McAfee has detected an infected file that cannot be repaired.

Trojan horses appear to be legitimate programs but can disrupt, damage, or provide unauthorized access to your computer.
These alerts are occuring every 10 seconds or so, and are becoming extremely problematic. They stop if I don't close them out, but they stay in front of everything else in the screen, and block off a major chunk of the lower-right corner.
I updated and ran scans with McAfee, Spybot S&D, and Ad-Aware, to virtually no effect (both spybot & Ad0aware found a few things, but didn't deal with this issue).
