On 16/9/07 i used u torrent. later i did a virus scn and came up with 8 viruses, 7 deletd but the last sone wouldn't move. it was the download folder that u torrent uses when downloading. i tried to get rid of the folder as i had uninstalled u torrent now. it wouldn't budge.
Anti -spyware: windows defender
anti - virus: avg 7.5 free
then i installed a programme called GiPo@MoveOnBoot to get rid of it. I told it what file to get rid of. it then insturcted me to restart so i did. then i logged in to my account. now i find the folder is deleted (good!). Ihave media center edition 2005. i enabled it to start everytime i log in automatically. now when i logged in media center froze. then a dialog box came form avg saying it could check the electronic certificate or something. i restarted, same problem. i then decided to uninstall avg but the uninstallation process froze leaving me with no other choice than taking the plug out of my pc.
If i try to open media center it doesn't respond. it's acting as if i'm clicking nothing.
this problem is still occuring. i tried a system restore but it didn't work. plz help!
