Had a look at Thunderbird last week, but preferred to stay with OE. Serves me well and no requirement for two email programs when there is so much webmail offered. Gmail is good as there is a chat program included.
We are not all "guys" here but I guess I don't mind being called a guy for a change!
Gmail is the stuff! i absolutely love it…rellatively infinite storage…great spam filtering…and all around awesomeness
i'm with tallin on the webmail jazz…it's generally much more efficient than using your ISP mail with a mail client
…if you pretty much EXCLUSIVELY use webmail…then you never have to worry about your email address changing…so you can change ISPs without sending out an email update to all your contacts
plus with webmail you can usually connect to the mail server with your client of choice anyway
as to the actuall question you asked… in my experience thunderbird is an effective mail client and has it's perks…IMO it's better than OE…but i'm a staunch OE opponent…i can't stand it
Glad to hear your replys guys
Feel free to ask me of any help with ThunderBird.. but it is very easy.. if so.. i can post another picture guide =D
Whatever ya want
Thanks,
