I am running WXP SP2 and have not found any viruses or malware with various program scans.

Could someone please just take a look at my Log and let me know if you see anyhting that could be the culprit causing any problems. It has gotton to the point that I can ONLY boot up hitting the f8 key and booting up in VGA mode only.

I have installed the uphclean utility and disabled any programs that was not releasing any memory strings so that has already been done, but the PC still will NOT shutdown on its own even while in VGA mode and it still will ONLY boot up in VGA mode.

It could be the nvidia video card but everything in the device manager looks to be O.K. using the Nvidia 93.71 drivers for the Ge Force MX440 card.

Specs: Intel P4 2.4 GHZ, 1 gig ram, Antec 480 P.S.

Here is the Hijack Log after running a complete Adware scan and rebooting the pc in the VGA mode:

I did NOT install the yahoo toolbar with my knowledge and I removed it from the toolbar but it still is showing up in this log.
I was using the AVG 7.5 anti-virus and ran a recent scan and now have uninstalled it in case it was causing the problem but apparently not.

Thanks for a reply whether it appears allright or not.
