Hello, I scanned my computer using Spybot S&D and it located a program that it could not remove even after I restarted the computer for thorough scanning. The particular program 'Smitfraud.C' (if I remembered it) is always detected . When I downloaded HijackThis program to anaylyze my PC, I got this message "This application has failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found.Re-installing the application may fix this problem" I have tried the 1.99 to 1.98 version, both zipped and self extracting did not work. For your info I am using a Compaq computer preinstalled with Windows XP Home Edition. Thank you to anyone who could help me out.
