Can't Open Highjack This

I downloaded Highjackthis and saved it to my desktop. When i click run it asks me what program i want to use to open it and i chose adobe 8 but when i chose adobe 8 it says adobe reader could not open HJT setup because it is it is not a supported file type or the file has been damaged (example it was sent as a email attachment and wasn't correctly coded.It gave me a choice where to open the file but i only know adobe. is there something else i can open it in? Thanks for any help
