Trojan Horse Generic3.abkk

Hi all,

Ive done it all, scanned with AVG Antivirus, AVG Anti spyware, Spybot, Ad aware, carp** cleaner, Advance windowscare. I also have ashampoo firewall and spyware blaster.

The AVG Antivirus keeps popping up with the message:

Threat Detected
While Opening file c:\Documents\Fabian\Localsetting\temp\ASWFHide
Trojan Horse Generic3.ABKK.

I tried to push ignore, heal and move to vault. but it keeps popping up.

It is similar to commando 2's problem with the trojan horse and i did a scan with hijack and also avg anti spyware following the instructions that was posted.

c:\Documents\Fabian\Localsetting\temp\ASWFHide is a temp file created by Ashampoo firewall. It is a false postitive.

Other than that your log looks clean.

Please reply back that everything else seems ok that I may close this topic if there is nothing else.

Hi do i need to uninstall ashampoo firewall to stop that irritating message because my avg anti virus software keeps on picking it up… and plus, shud i install comodo firewall instead? THANKS A BUNDLE

If you can't tell your anti virus to ignore it and it bothers you, yes, I would try another firewall. Doesn't matter to me which firewall you use as long as you have a software firewall installed. :thumbup: Let me know how you make out please.
